I emulated Jan Groover's photographic style. In photoshop I adjusted the histogram under the levels menu. I also cropped the pictures down and made it so they followed the rule of thirds. My pictures are simular to Jan Groover's pictures because I used kitchen untencils, as did she. I also played up reflection within the metal tools. My pictures are different than hers because I did not used plants wihtin my pictures. My pitures are simular to Jan's but not exactly the same. Is there anything distracting within either of my pictures?
I also emulated Ansel Adams photographic style. I edited these pitures in photoshop. I adjusted the histogram under the levels menu aswell as cropped the pictures down so they followed the rule of thirds. My two pictures are simular to Ansel Adam's pictures because my main subject is the beautiy of nature. Ansel also enjoyed taking pictues of snow covered things in nature. Which one of my pictures do you like better?
